The science fiction news site, Slice of Sci-Fi, has announced the news that they will be releasing an interview with the director of “Disunity” and “Disunity, Part 2″ (In other words, yours truly). Well, here we go again.

Production on our second episode “Disunity, Part 2”, has finally started with us hitting the ground running. After many weeks of pre-production, I’m not only relieved to finally see this day come, but I’m actually very excited about it for two reasons. First, with this news, we can now move from being a one-shot release to a viable series production. And the second reason, and for me the most important, is that this is a really good, character-driven story. Read more »

”Star Trek: Unity” Makes The Move To Full CGI Animation!

Matt Boardman, the project’s Head of Graphics and lead animator, announced today that “Star Trek: Unity” has moved from using machinima as the animation technique to be used in the creation of the animated series to full CG animation. Read more »

Star Trek: Unity’s premiere episode, “Disunity” is a mystery/suspense story featuring Special Guest Star Kurt Carley. Although we can’t divulge the exact plot for this episode (since that would only ruin the mystery), we can say that the story is an allegory to a contemporary issue facing our world today.
